2020 Buddy Walk - Team Stone Belt

Team Stone Belt is out walking every day as part of the 2020 Buddy Walk. We are discovering hidden treasures in our community and, of course, doing a lot of walking!

Team Stone Belt consists of several mini-teams in various classrooms and residences. Teams are given challenges by our fitness instructor and compete for prizes to be awarded from Stone Belt at the end of the challenge. This is a great way for clients and staff to get out and have fun and to support Down syndrome awareness at the same time.

In 1995, thousands of steps were taken towards a better tomorrow. Since then, the Buddy Walk® has become known as the premier advocacy event for Down syndrome in the United States. It is also the world’s most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community.
