I AM YOU features performances written and practiced over the past year by Stone Belt clients under the supervision of director Lucy Farmer. The 2022 production also features the return of two troupe members from the 2018 I Am YOU—Anna Hamer and Lyle Freeman—participating as coaches for the new troupe members.

I AM YOU provides people with disabilities the opportunity to share their stories and showcase their talents. Participation in a professional theater production is a chance to demonstrate to the community that all individuals have stories to share along with artistic skills, dreams, and aspirations.

The 2022 I AM YOU troupe includes Mikaela Coppedge, Joseph Cramer, Alvin Day, Lisa Dickey, Michael Ely (also a returning troupe member), Logan Eppard, Kristina Hale, Gregory Maxwell, and Melinda Owens. The clients represent all three areas served by Stone Belt, including Bedford, Columbus, and Bloomington.

Stone Belt received a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission for the production of I AM YOU in 2022.
