Supported Living Site Supervisor - Bloomington, IN

At Stone Belt, our Site Supervisors are vital to the smooth operation of our Supported Living Program. As a Site Supervisor with Stone Belt, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of assigned sites and will lead a team of Supported Living staff. By maintaining knowledge of clients’ rights and Individualized Support Plans (ISPs), you will provide for the health, safety and well-being of your assigned clients.

You would likely be a great fit for the Site Supervisor role if you demonstrate an ability to effectively lead a group of people, possess strong organization and time management skills, and are confident in your conflict resolution abilities. Not a morning person? No problem! Our clients have busy schedules during the day, so the Site Supervisor works weekday afternoons and evenings - you will need to prefer working in that time frame!

Recreation Therapist - Bloomington

The Recreation Therapist (RT) provides direct supports to clients designed to improve their physical, cognitive, and social functioning. The RT utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of people with the goal of obtaining greater participation in life in the community. Activities include organizing and directing adapted sports, dramatics, arts and crafts, social activities, and other recreation supports.

This position is directly supervised by the Milestones Associate
Director or designate. Qualified candidates must be Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapists.

Licensed Therapist - Bloomington, IN

The Licensed Therapist is a provider of mental health services who is a member of the Milestones outpatient team.  The Licensed Therapist provides mental health assessment and evaluation, develops and implements treatment plans, as well as other support services to individuals and their families.  The position reports directly to the Milestones Director. The starting pay for this opportunity is $20/hour, or higher based on experience.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing psychosocial assessments of clients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, treatment, and/or life situation.
  • Formulating, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans
  • Documenting assessments, plans, interactions and interventions according to departmental guidelines.


Qualifications: 

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria: A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related health services field and must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling. Must hold a current Indiana license to practice mental health services: LCSW or LMHC preferred. We will also consider individuals with active LSW or LMHCA licenses in the state of Indiana.

As a Skills Clinician at Milestones, you will provide education, training and interventions to assist client in gaining skills to better manage mental health symptoms. These skills include but are not limited to, stress management, problem solving, emotion regulation and communication skills. You will also have the opportunity to provide services to children and adults in the home, school and community settings.

Essential duties of the position include: participate in team meetings, weekly clinical supervision, plan and implement skills training sessions with clients, complete clinical documentation that is accurate and meets organizational and Medicaid standards, including progress notes, care plans and reassessments.

Skills Clinicians work a flexible schedule based on client needs. This can be either a full-time or part-time position!  Base pay begins at $14.50/hour, with bonus potential.

Pre-Employment Transition Instructor - Bloomington, IN

Stone Belt is currently seeking a full-time Pre-Employment Transition Instructor to join our Employment Services team in Bloomington! This position gives you the opportunity to work directly with students, aged 14-22, to develop valuable employment skills and to help prepare them for life after high school!

As the Pre-Employment Transition Instructor, you will coordinate with students, teachers, and families to develop a customized plan of needed services for each individual. These services include career counseling, job exploration, work experiences, counseling on post-secondary education, and instructing the students on self-advocacy. Once a plan is in place, you will direct the implementation of services in a variety of settings; in the classroom, in the community, in groups, one-on-one, and more!

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and have at least two years of experience in training people with disabilities. Don’t have all that on your resume? Don’t worry! A combination of education and relevant work experience will certainly be considered.

This full-time position works a flexible schedule in a variety of settings, and will often transport students to various appointments. As such, possession of a valid US Driver’s license and car insurance is mandatory to qualify for this opportunity.

Temporary Direct Support Specialist: Manufacturing
The Direct Support Specialist – Manufacturing provides direct instruction and support to clients in participating in manufacturing and retaining employment. This position is directly supervised by the Manufacturing Services Coordinator. The pay for this temporary position is $14/hour, and the temp period lasts 90 days with the possibility of continued employment afterward.

Duties:

1. Supervises the production of workstations while monitoring and maintaining quality control and timeliness of completion.

2. Provides vocational training to clients.

3. Maintains production and payroll records in conformance with program, agency, and financial requirements.

4. Maintains a clean and safe work area and to organize work stations that provide a maximum level of efficiency in production.

5. Follows ISO regulations as they apply.

6. Works well both independently and in a team setting.

Position is 40 hours, full time with benefits. Monday -Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm

QIDP - Bedford, IN

Stone Belt is currently looking to hire a motivated, caring person to serve as a Supervised Group Living (SGL) Coordinator/QIDP in our Bedford location. The QIDP acts as a liaison to the program participants for all community integration and is responsible for the general operation of assigned local group homes. This is a full time position with a flexible schedule and benefits.

Qualified applicants will possess: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND two years’ experience in services to persons with developmental disabilities, or eligibility to be designated as a QIDP. Prior management/supervisory experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Weekend Float Direct Support Professional - Columbus

This position offers and requires a highly flexible schedule. The person serving in this role will be given a schedule a month at a time, and will be scheduled between the hours of 4pm-8am on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays - exact days to be determined with individual upon hire). You will be trained in multiple sites, allowing you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the field and the individuals with whom you will work. The starting pay rate for this weekend floating position is $13 per hour.

Behavior Clinician - Columbus, IN

Stone Belt has been a community leader for nearly 50 years providing services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This tradition continues to grow and expand. Milestones, our medical and counseling practice seeks a Behavior Clinician to provide behavior support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in designated agency programs, as well as in waiver services. This individual conducts intakes/behavioral assessments, develops and implements behavior support plans, provides education and training to clients, family members, agency staff, and/or personnel. The Behavior Clinician works closely with Milestones’ psychiatrists and other members of the clinical team. Experience includes knowledge of developmental disabilities and practice in clinical settings.
