The Self-Advocates of Monroe County and the Stone Belt Advocacy Committee will present its first Self-Advocate Voter Education Town Hall meeting on Monday, June 4, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Stone Belt Headquarters, 2815 E. 10th Street, Bloomington. Peggy Welch will speak from 7 to 7:30 about the importance of voting, while Karen Wheeler, Monroe County election supervisor, will demonstrate how to vote from 7:30 to 8 p.m. The event will be streamed live on Facebook and the videos will be archived for later viewing.
